Hi Beatless

You can become drowsy with brain cancer. If this is a recent change for you, the sudden feeling of needing to sleep, or you may not remember dozing off, it may be worth mentioning to the oncology team or your lung cancer nurse specialist.

Some medication used for managing side effects of cancer treatment can cause this fatigue and sleeping constantly.

If you are aware of any other symptoms or change in symptoms do let your oncology team know.

Sometimes, the body just needs to rest, which is good preparation for your next treatment that you are waiting for.

If you would like to discuss anything you can email ask the nurse at lungcancerhelp@roycastle.org or call our free phone nurse led helpline number on 0800 358 7200 Monday to Thursday 0900-1700 and Friday 0900-1600

Kind regards
