lung cancer and secondary. spine cancer

A few weeks ago someone posted a message online which made me think they were in a very similar position to myself and they asked a question which felt very relevant. I have lung cancer. I had an operation to remove two growths on the right lung, then radiotherapy on the left lung. I now have cancer in my spine, which has recently been treated again with radiotherapy. Problem is I cant find the original letter I am referring to. I would like to be able to speak (via this forum) to this person, so would appreciate a note if you recognise yourself

Thank you for your patience

Dear Nantilly

Sorry to hear you have spread to your spine, which must be very difficult for you and your loved ones.

Do you recall any of the details this person spoke of and I can try and trace the post for you?

If you remember the question that you thought was relevant, we would be happy to discuss, you can either email ask the nurse at lungcancerhlep@roycastle.org or call our free phone nurse led helpline number on 0800 358 7200 Monday to Thursday 0900-1700 and Friday 0900-1600

Meanwhile this is the link to our booklet on bone metastases that may be useful for you: roycastle.org/app/uploads/2...

Kind regards

Oh, thanks very much for your reply to my letter.Unluckily I can remember nothing except I felt this lady would understand exactly where I was coming from! She spoke of the things that worried me, or interested me. I felt we were in the same place with our cancer, if you understand what I mean, which I am pretty sure you do.

Again, thank you for your response and support. I appreciate both.
