This summer we are planning to run a campaign highlighting the work the charity has been involved in over the last 25 years.
If you have found this forum useful, or have used our information materials, support groups, Ask the Nurse services or Information Days we would really welcome your feedback. As well as any anonymous comments we are hoping some people will be willing to be interviewed/ pictured with their comments.
If you want to submit any comments, want to know more or are willing to be directly featured please get in touch. You can submit a comment below, Private message me or email me on lorraine.dallas@roycastle.org
best wishes

As you know I have been involved with Roy Castle Lung Foundation, by initially being a member when I had lung cancer back in 2012.
I now help people who wish to stop smoking , and hopefully prevent cancer.
I voluntary help with Quit Support. The Roy Castle stop smoking service.
I would love to see more involvement on both communities. I recommend members to visit this community. Likewise it would be good to see Quit support being mentioned in this community.
Members are very grateful for the information you provide.
I think this forum is a godsend to many people. some of the fears and anxieties expressed by patients and their loved ones demonstrate there is a need for a moderated safe space for those wanting to learn more about their condition or those wanting to share their feelings and concerns with others who may have already been through the experience. I'm very grateful it is here and hope it continues supporting many people. The support days are also a very good informal opportunity to find out more with clinicians and other patients/carers and again, wish more would be done especially in our area but know one is planned for Birmingham later in the year. Would love to get one into the Black Country in future. The online information is a great resource but we need to spread the word more to let people know it has been clinically moderated and reviewed by a patient panel for comments before publishing and regularly updated. thanks for asking for our thoughts.
