Dear Friends my tumours in my lung have grown a little: Top right tumour has grown 2mm and bottom left 0.5mm. The cancer still is only my Right Lung and so hasn't spread. So it's goodish news according to my oncologist. I'm not up any treatment as the cancer is 'stable'. This will be checked in January with a CT Scan followed by an oncologist appointment where God willing the cancer is much the same. Otherwise it's a phase 1 clinical trial. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time and thoughts.

Dear ParchWoody
It is encouraging that the cancer is stable, and that the Oncologist will continue to monitor this.
I have placed a link below for a list of clinical trials from cancer research UK:
cancerresearchuk.org/about-...
You can look up each trial, along with the eligibility criteria and where the trial is taking place.
Another link below is from Clinical Trial Gateway UK providing the same information, but may have a different list of trials:
ukctg.nihr.ac.uk/clinical-t...
You can narrow the search down to location if this helps.
It may be worth asking your lung cancer specialist nurse if there are any clinical trials available in your area.
If you wish to discuss anything, you can call us on our free nurse led helpline number on 0800 358 7200
All the very best

Hi Parchwoody,
With stage 4 NSCLC, I had gemcarbo chemo two years ago with some benefit in reducing my tumour . I had 9 months of stability, but a CT scan then showed some growth in the tumour. My oncologist saw this as good news and bad news. Bad news is obvious, but the good news was that it allowed the Oncologist to offer me Nivolumab, either on NHS or privately. I have now had 17 sessions of Nivolumab, and the tumour remains stable.
It might be worth talking again to your Oncologist to see if the growth in your tumour allows access to immunotherapy treatment.
Good luck!
Thank you for your reply. I’ve already had a go on immunotherapy Prembrolizamb. But didn’t work. So I may have to go on trials.
