9x11 mm module found after 6 months of chemo and a middle and upper lobe removal in Dec 2017, also 30 shots of radiation. Normal 90 day ct scan and a module shows in the plural effusion! Does this mean cancer returned in the form of a 1 cm node?? Or is it scar tissue from the resection along with radiation?? Someone help

Module found 90 days after lobectomy
Have you asked your medical team? Do you have access to the radiologist or oncologist? Not all nodules in the lung are cancerous - many people are on a 'watchful waiting' pathway but given your history, I imagine your clinicians will be investigating all possibilities. Ask if you can speak to one of them as I'm guessing from your treatment timeline, you have access to them or a lung specialist nurse. Rather than guess and imagine the worse, it's really important to discuss your own case with your clinicians. good luck and fingers crossed for you....
HiLovey 1000,
Rather than speculate ,you should ask the oncologist managing your care about your individual concerns. You could also ask your lung cancer nurse specialist who knows your individual history. She can arrange to discuss your issues in between your clinic appointments.Don't put off phoning her she would have given you a contact number at the clinic. If she is not available, leave a message on her ansaphone, she will phone you back.
Kind regards,
All the team at the Roy Castle Helpline
