I wish you and your dad well.

I had my lung removed 5yrs ago and fine now.

Dont forget any queries to ask your dads lung cancer nurse specialist.

Thats what they are there for. ☺x

Hope his appointment goes well. I always find it useful to write any questions down beforehand so that I remember to ask them when we are there. Also my partner goes with me as two heads seem better than one x

Welcome Chrissy. Sorry to hear about your dad's diagnosis but there's lots to hope for. There is wealth of information you may wish to look at on Roy Castle website that explains the condition, treatments, what to expect and aspects of life with lung cancer. Important for you to support him but also not just treat him as his condition - which is scary to deal with. Pop by the site when you need some support - there are plenty of helpful people on here who've walked the walk before…. good luck.
