Gabapentin

Just wondered if everyone after a lobectomy takes gabapentin and how long they have stayed on them for. Was reading something that made it sound like you could be left with permanent nerve dam age and would need to just stay on them!

I haven't been on them at all. Not sure if it's because you have nerve pain or if done as a routine where you are. I do still get odd feelings around my right chest but not enough to need any pain relief.

Hi Jackie

Oh right. They were just among the medication I was given straight after op and bought home with me! Maybe as routine with that surgeon! Did you have keyhole? How long ago was your surgery. Thanks
