My husband has a large mass on his lungs which has not been proven to be cancer however they have said it is if proven stage 4 T3 N1 M1 a this was on the results sheet?
radiotherapy would be the treatment offered. Why is this? What does it all mean? We are shell shocked really as he had an X-ray last year which was clear - so we were told. I guess I'm not sure about anything until Thursday when we have an appointment at the hospital , what else could it be?
It could be a granuloma. (A fungus)

My mum was told she has cancer of the lung ( t3n2m0) following xray and ct scan, although they are unable to say what type. This was 25 days ago. Like your husband, she also has an hospital app on thursday. I feel my life has been put on hold: im desperate for Thursday to arrive, to bring some answers and a plan of action. However, at the same time, i dont want Thursday to be here at all as in my heart of hearts, i know its not going to be good news.

Sorry to hear about your Mum and the wait you have to hear some answers or treatment options. It is such a difficult time for you all.
There has been some good advances with lung cancer treatments, hopefully your Mum will benefit from these.

Welcome to the forum, and sorry to hear of your confusion with your husbands diagnosis. From what you have said on the 'results sheet'; was this information from a scan or lung biopsy?
If your husband has been referred to a lung specialist nurse at the hospital they could provide more information for you.
Make a list of all your questions when you go on Thursday, and may be good to have someone with you who can capture all the information given.

Hi thanks for your reply, the results were on a scan if that helps. Still so insure about how to feel and what to expect, Thursday seems like a lifetime away. X
Well we have had the specialist meeting- no further forward really just more tests- bronchoscopy on friday then meet again a few days later to discuss results. still not saying too much just it could be this or that, its so hard this waiting around.
Can anyone help - do you get any pain at this stage? My hubbie is now experiencing pain / pressure he's not sure what really just something where the mass is- . thanks x
