Good morning I hope you've not been awake all night alone and worried.. I've just seen your post and didn't want to pass it by without replying. I don't have any great words of wisdom to share, however, until you have all the tests and know the results, please don't panic and stress yourself out. I understand uncertainty is frightening but the folks on here with more experience and knowledge than I will be of great help, if and when you need it. Please try and enjoy your day. Sending positive thoughts T😉
Hi Sue
Im sorry you're having such a scary time right now. Being told you have a shadow and then having to go through tests to determine what it is is such a frightening experience. I hope you have a good support network around you to bolster you up. And I hope you're managing to have a reasonable day and not getting yourself too stressed out. I don't have any words of wisdom to offer you - except try to stay calm. You could be worrying about nothing. My own husband went through several tests to determine what his 'shadow' was. CT scans PET/CT scans and also a biopsy. It took around 5 weeks from his first GP appointment until all the tests were completed. It's difficult not knowing. I would suggest taking a friend or family member with you to any appointments. 2 pairs of ears is always better than one! You will find lots of support here so keep posting. You aren't alone

Hi Sue
Will just confirm what Netty has said above, certainly about the two ears. Same thing happened to me from having a chest xray for something else they saw a shadow, which was over twelve months ago. It is a scarey time waiting for results but be assured the medical profession know what they are doing and have your best interests at heart. Take care, there is a lot of help on this site so do use it.

Hi Sue
Although I had replied to your previous post, I saw this one further down the page and just wanted to see how you are doing today? This is a great place to have support and first hand advice from those who are replying back to you.
