Someone please explain when they remove some of your lung.My doctor says surgery is 25 minutes and home in 2 dayz

if they said it takes only 25 minutes it could be Video assisted lobectomy or segmentectomy. this is minimally invasive and stay in hospital is shortened.

Welcome to this forum, depending on the stage and position of the tumour it is possible for a surgeon perform Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery or VATs, ( keyhole surgery ) this is a less invasive type of surgery and recovery time is shorter.
