Flu like symptoms

Hi all im hoping someone has had the same, Dad has had 5 chemos will be his 6th on Wednesday, always before on the first or second day of treatment Dad has what he describes as the onset of flu like symptoms but only for about an hour and then he is fine, however this time he is still getting them they are only ever for an hour normally about 6pm anyone had this. Im also dosing him up with lots of cabbage and brocolli to give him some extra iron, he says he does feel better if he has a cup of Bovril as well.

We seem to have solved it lack of Iron in his diet, have now put more iron in his meals (food form not tablet) and he seems to be back on track
