Lung cancer.
Hi I had the same thing done march 5 2013, and also a bit of the lower lobe removed. Hopefully the lobe that is left will expand to take some of the space left by the removal of the other two lobes. That's why its important to walk a lot and practise breathing to expand your lung. Well done . Its not so bad. I am still here!
Best wishes

Hi - I had the upper right lobe removed and was told that the space is filled by the other lobes expanding to fill the space.
I presume that this would still be the case if you have had two lobes removed and that the lower lobe would expand and fill the void left by the other two lobes.
Hope you are doing okay after the surgery.
Best wishes

Hi, I had a RLL in Sept 2011 and my other two lobes have now almost filled the space that was left. I also believe that some of the internal organs may move around a little as well but don't take my word for it. Give your LCN a phone and she will give you all the right info. Surgery usually has the best outcome with this disease so good luck.

Hi I had my whole right lung removed two and a half years ago. The space I have now has filled with water. Also my left lung has expanded and moved slightly across to the right, along with my heart. All is fine and feels ok.
