Hi Julie,

Your general fitness will stand you in good stead for coping with Tarceva.

The most common side effects are rash, diarrhoea and dry eyes.

For a full list of side effects please read the patient information leaflet inside the Tarceva pack.

The Tarceva rash looks similar to acne, but is not acne and should not be treated as such.

If a rash occurs and causes severe discomfort you should contact your medical team.

If your skin becomes very dry use plenty of unperfumed moisturiser.

If you require further information, please don't hesitate to contact us on 03333237200 or you can email us at info@roycastle.org

Best wishes, Beth, on behalf of information and support.
