Not sure about the rarity of squamous cells in your tumor. I also have a big tumor in my upper right lung which is adeno but am responding well to treatment. Hang in there. Best of luck to you.

Adenosquamous carcinoma is pretty rare. It occurs in less than 1/2 of 1% of lung cancers. This link is to an article that uses more plain English than the others I found but it’s still kind of medicalese. It has some excellent graph information.
