Beepers I hope everything turns out ok. I had adnoecarsinoma stage 3 in lympnodes . Couldn't do radiation felt too weak. Did six months chemo am now 7 year lung cancer survivor. There is hope and don't stop fighting don't give up. They have a lot of treatments and more new ones coming out that let stage 3-4 live longer. I'll be here if you need me. and so will the others if one doesn't know someone another will.Let us know. Love susiejo1948
Well, not the news I expected or wanted. Stage 3b. Surgery not an option. Chemo/ radiation. I will fight the battle as you have. Thanks for your encouragement. Love, Beepers7
I’m planning on getting second opinion just to verify stag 3b diagnosis. It is great to hear from everyone and very encouraging to hear the positive outcomes. God bless you
Had hoped that this would be benign. Get ready for a lot of hurry up and wait. This is a time when a lot of garages get cleaned, drawers get organized, and projects get finished.
If you belong to a faith that has a winter holiday you might get your shopping done now. When treatment begins you may be too tired to do it during treatment.
If you don’t have an exercise program Get walking. It will help speed recovery.
I’m a big time walker and backpacker. Just finished a 210 mile 16 day hike in June. That’s what so surprising this diagnosis is. I still have zero symptoms and feel good. Can’t believe stage 3b. I will push ahead and do all I can to beat this cancer . Thanks for everyone’s advise and encouragement.
Good luck as you start an experience that many of us have had - there are many options now and so many people living longer on different treatment combinations - also ask whether you're eligible for any clinical trials when you meet your clinician. As others have said, keep active and live.... best wishes
