Hi everyone!
Have not posted in a while. So, it has been four months since my mother (43 and dyalisis patient too) had an emergency lobectomy since she was coughing blood and ended in the ICU for 2 weeks very critical. They removed tumor and doctor said no spread to lymph nodes but to follow up with oncologist. (Take in mind the tumor had been seen 6 years ago but nothing done about it until complications began this March outta nowhere)
Recently, ( Now post lobectomy)
She has had this cough that began about 2 months ago everytime she goes to dyalisis. The AC or something makes her throat scratchy. When she falls asleep saliva makes her cough. (Note: She was also intubated for 2 weeks induced coma durin the ICU stay prior to lobectomy)
Anyway she is doing amazing still. Doing her regular mom things. Pickin up my siblings and going everywhere, but the cough bothers her in cold places. She is so scared that cancer is back! We going to oncologist next week hopefully. But I am scared too. She panics with this cough. She also gets back pain and headaches, but also had them before the whole diagnosis and could be dyalisis since it is a side effect. I am just anxious and I cry alot even though she looks perfect. The cough worries me.
