I really thought we’d make it. The doctors are figuring that the pneumonitis was caused by the immune booster he was receiving. Plus when they restarted the blood thinner to prevent pulm embolism they used the one that takes longer to reverse. The blood thinner caused alveolar hemorrhage. I’m very sad, he wasn’t ready to go. We all thought the steroids could handle the inflammation but they could not.
I appreciate this group.

So sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing his picture with this adoring dog. It is very sad for those of us here to lose someone who works hard to survive cancer but succumbs to other conditions. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself.
My prayers are with you, we never want them too leave we never feel they will go, but when you look at the journey of this horrendous disease and how awful and painful it is for our loved ones.... we never want it to end, but all we want is it to just go away and get out of their system and leave them alone.... sadly when it’s in, it’s hard to get rid, when it’s travelled in so deep.... I pray you take this painful grieving journey with ease and be kind to yourself, knowing he is no longer going through this horrendous to and from hospital, struggling to keep going, it’s painful for them, as they don’t want to go, painful to loved ones left behind as we can’t bare time without them... may god give you strength and ease your pain. Ameen.🙏
So sorry for your loss. He fought the good fight, and I'm sure having you walk alongside was a huge blessing for him. Praying for all of you... peace and comfort.
