Jean, losing a friend is never easy. Even when expected. I hope you can find comfort in memories of better times.

Thank you Denzie. My heart is broken for the family. They bore the brunt of it. It was sudden and fraught with the medical community dropping the ball. She had to wait an unreasonably long time to see the right specialist. It would not have changed the outcome, but she might have been diagnosed sooner and had palliative treatment sooner. The wonders of hindsight.

All the prayers and support have been much appreciated.

Jean,

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Wished that the outcome had been different. My best friend died in 2010. She was diagnosed with cancer a few days before she died. Losing someone you love is difficult no matter the circumstances. Some linger and some are gone in the blink of an eye. While we continue to grieve for the lack of their physical presence in our lives, we know that they live on with us in our love for them and memories we made together. I am glad you can be there for the family.

Thank you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Yoie heartache is the unfortunate side effect of love, which I know you do not regret. May memories bring you some bit of comfort
