I am 2 years post surgery and treatment with chemo and radiation. 2 months ago I have become very unstable and have had a doctor tell me that this can happen up to 6 years out. Had anyone else had this problem?

Hi I didn't know about 6 years I was told. A lot of people don't make it five years. I had stage three in lympnodes. I didn't do radiation because was told it would mess up my esophagus and have to be tube fed and it would mess with my good lung. I did have lobectomy upper left. I'm at six years. Was told. I didn't have to. Come back for lung xray for 6 months with nurse practitioner and a year for ct scan and see onc. Did it come back in lungs or else where mine was adenocarsinoma. Was told if cancer comes back it will be else wear. Really I hope yours will be ok again. Love susie jo1948

I as because I have had issues with falling. No Rymhe or reason. I can’t seem to figure if it is coming from my legs being week? Or I am not able to catch myself if I trip. It’s not everyday, or even every week. It’s enough to where I notice something is not quit right. Also seems my body get scratched very easily and bruised.

Look forward to hearing from you

Yes I meant wobbly I haven't fallen yet, but if you were watching me walk it would look like I had too much to drink.

A doctor said that with chemo and radiation this can happen. I don't know if there is anything that can be done. I may be my new normal.
