I had my 3rd anniversary Sunday of my surgery. It was also the day I had my last cigarette, after 44 years of smoking. I still have a fear of return. I lost 2 family members. I am thankful for God's blessings and for sites like this. It helps knowing you aren't alone in your struggles. God bless!

Congratulations on achieving this milestone and prayers that you enjoy many milestones both personal and of your family.

Quitting was tough for me too. I won't go back. I always swore that they needed a Betty Ford Clinic for tobacco cessation because I would need s week in the hospital and that's what it took.

As we used to say in my youth or my second childhood-"Keep on keeping on"..
