I had my 3rd anniversary Sunday of my surgery. It was also the day I had my last cigarette, after 44 years of smoking. I still have a fear of return. I lost 2 family members. I am thankful for God's blessings and for sites like this. It helps knowing you aren't alone in your struggles. God bless!

Quitting was tough for me too. I won't go back. I always swore that they needed a Betty Ford Clinic for tobacco cessation because I would need s week in the hospital and that's what it took.
As we used to say in my youth or my second childhood-"Keep on keeping on"..

I went through the same as you 2 yeares c free and the smokeing stoped when I Was told it's been 2 yeares now now I have a herina to and there are times I still get pain do you I went to fox chase In Phila pa but I live in New Jersey Take care Janice
