Are thigh leg aches "normal" after done with 4 rounds of Cisplatin and Taxotere?

It seems I can't shake having constant leg aches. It feels like muscle burn as if I've climbed a mountain. I remained active during my treatments albeit not as active as before but, still I wasn't just a couch potato. Will this constant muscle ache go away anytime soon? Is it normal to have this sore muscle feeling after you're done with chemo? Any advise would be most helpful.

WebMD lists muscle aches as a side effect of the Taxotere. Report your problem to your oncologists nurse tomorrow and ask for suggestions to help reduce the discomfort. If you’re having Chemo in the morning tell the infusion nurse about it

I feel your pain😣 I’ve been on Taxotere and Cyramza since April 2017. Been taking a 9 week break from Taxotere, scanning next Thursday to see if I remain stable before deciding if we are going to add it back in. I’ve noticed a small decrease in burning/muscle fatigue during this time but it has been fairly constant over the past year. I notice it most when climbing stairs, hiking, even just walking uphill. Like you, I still try and remain as active as possible. My doc once suggested it might be a form of neuropathy but could be fatigue related brought on by chemo. There is more info on Taxotere in the breast cancer communities as it is used quite commonly and this seems a common complaint.

What about swelling. Did any of you experience swelling in the face during Cisplatin? Any tips to manage it? Thanks
