Prayers for dads upcoming scans

My dad has new scans on May 1st at Dana farber. He has been on a dose of carboplatin for the last month or so. He now has scans to see how the cancer is responding or if it's progressing. From there, the doctor will most likely be going over more details on the clinical trial they want him to start.

Im praying that next Monday brings us good news. Scan-xiety is real and I know we all get anxious as to what it will reveal. I am choosing to remain optimistic and faithful that he will show improvements! Trusting in gods healing is all we can do. I'm so proud of my dad for staying strong through all his treatments. Please say a prayer for him!

Hi....I'll keep him in my prayers and positive thoughts. I also have my scan on Monday. They are always interesting days. I have been on Votrient 2 yrs and 9 months. I am very thankful that I have tolerated 800mg and it has kept the Cancer stable. Best wishes are with you.

Hi , I'm glad your Dad is doing well with coping with all the tests , being positive is a huge part of healing. I also have my monthly b/w , and Sandostatin shot, the past couple months have been good, but get nervous every month not knowing what to expect. Prayers for both of you that his results will be responding well.

Hi RWHayes!

They already did the brain radiation about 2 months ago.

He will be doing olaparib and temozolmide, out of Dana farber. I'm hoping we learn more about this on Monday after his scans. Praying so hard for positive news !
