Update on my stage 4 cancer

I'm on my 6th treatment of opdivo and so far doing good, I go for my ct scan Monday to see if it's working, praying it is,I'm handling opdivo better than chemo,

I just get tired more easily so I rest alot but other than that, I'm don't have any side effects, thank you for the prayer,

Good to hear your news. I myself know nothing about the drug. Is the expected outcome shrinking of your tumors or just preventing new growth ? If you don't know that's ok too. Sometimes the information of new drugs are too much to adsorb.

Keep fighting

Rest as much as you can

I have been on opdivo for almost a year and doing well with it. Praying your CT goes well. I go for my next CT on May however all previous scans show improvement! : )

It is immune therapy. It boost my immune system to help fight stage 4 lung cancer. Chemo did not work for me and mutation match allowed me to do Opdivo and I am happy to report I am doing well with this treatment.

Glad you r doing good on opdivo, I've done my 6th treatment of it had a scare with my thyroid low but went back to normal now they called today and it's very high which they say it's side effect from the opdivo,but sending me to another dr,I go tomorrow for resultsure of Mondays scan hoping for good news,keep doing well I'll still keep u in my prayers God bless,

Mine was low as well so my Dr cut back my thyroid med to once every three days. I will pray your appt goes well.

Hope your scans are great! I've also been on Opdivo for over a year and despite some issues with side effects (Low grade Pneumonitis), it has worked well for me. Currently Stable (while on a treatment break) and doing okay! I go this week for my next round of scans and hope the pneumonitis is now clear and that the Opdivo is still working well!

Good luck to everyone on Opdivo -- I'm so pleased with the results and think it has definitely saved my life! I did okay on chemo for only a short-time and then had significant progression, Opdivo stopped that quickly and also significantly shrunk my tumor and has kept me from developing any new tumors ! YAY!!

Just wanted to let you know that thanks to "Opdivo" I am now NED !! Woohoo! I hope you'll soon be posting the same thing! I really do feel like it's been my "miracle" drug -- !! I've been off for over 8 months now and it kept working even after they stopped my treatments!!!

Not NED, but still stable and "off Treatment", doing good. Thanks for asking, happy to hear you are still NED and doing well on Opdivo. I have my next labs in August and CT Scan in September! Hoping, as always to remain stable!

I get Opdivo every two weeks since Jan of 2017. I was diagnosed with stage 4 non small cell carcinoma in both lungs 5 years ago. Rest when you need to but get up n try to take small walks if you can I do all my own household chores and yes I get very tired and when that happens I rest always put one foot in front of the other daily n don’t forget about God I’ve not had any side effects from Opdivo
