Jeffrey Poehlmann who was a regular contributor here and other places. Also he was a blogger whose work was picked up by lungcancer.net. Jeffrey passed away this week.
Jeffrey’s answers were always well thought out and I quickly learned that I could rely on their accuracy. His voice will be missed

I saw this news last night and it hit me quite hard. I found Jeffrey's blog shortly after I was diagnosed and followed his journey closely. We disagreed at times, even on this site, but I always found his willingness to delve deep into what was important to him admirable. He was a true patient advocate and I will miss his voice, his support and his willingness to openly share his journey. Sending love and hopes for peace to his family.
I am so saddened to hear about Jeffrey's passing. We will continue to work even harder in his memory to eradicate this horrible disease. Love, thoughts and prayers are with his family at this most difficult time.
So very sorry to hear this news. We have lost another brave soul, but his memory will be a constant reminder to fight hard, and live your life like there's no tomorrow! Because as we all know, there are no guarantees in life.
So sorry to hear that i know how hard it can be for his Family. My Husband died five weeks ago he had lung surgery but died from infections he got in the hospital. life is very hard and facing the death of a loved one is harder.Margaret.
So very sorry for your loss. Your pain must still be quite raw. I send prayers that you find healing and comfort in the company of your family and friends, and a bit of peace in memories of better days.
