i'm going to maybe repeat my self some. Alot of you know me already. I have adenocarcinoma . It is stage three it was in my lymphnodes. . I went through six months of chemo. They removed my upper lung on left side than I done the chemo. Yes I do have a lot of pain from it going on three years, but I manage because i'm In remission have been for almost three years. Alli want to do is help others with lung cancer and be there for them. Now the pain I have I take gabipentin and muscle relaxers and pain medication. It helps but not completely. But I manage, please remember I only want to be there for whoever needs me. I also had breast cancer two years before the lung cancer. Had a mastectomy but no treatments was different type cancer but it is alright, but it all on left side so I would say it may cause some of the pain. Thank you for listening. your a great bunch and i'm happy to be here with you all.@Jo Taylor.

Jo, your strength and compassion for others is a gift. I am so sorry to hear about your pain, but glad that you obviously communicate with your doctors and use what they prescribe to help ease it a little at least. Thank you so much for all you do for this community. Hugs.

Hi Jo Taylor your story is amazing!!!... And gave me hope!!!. My husband has Adenocarcinoma stage 4 left lung, bilateral plural effusion and Pulmonary Embolism both lungs, with metastasis on his chest lymph nodules ...Dr said there is not hope, Chemo is just to extend his period of life, no candidate for surgery, it's too late, it's so advanced. prognosis 6 months with no treatment and 2 or 3 years only if chemo works properly. I'm scare, I have 2 kids boy 9 years old and a girl 23 years old with Cerebral Palsy and Intellectual Disability, I'm living a nightmare and I'm still in shock, I don't know what I'm gonna do yet, I don't want to think negatively but when I'm at Dr office with my husband everything looks so real. I'm not in deny just it's like this is not happening to us. I pray every single day for all this change and I'm waiting for a great miracle, the same way that happened to you. Thanks for share your story.

Hugs and kisses.

Miteya.

@Fabymire I'm sorry to here your having a rough way to go.All I can say is don't give up hope. There's always something around the corner that may help. Tell your husband to keep fighting .Please don't think that I'm able to make a miracle happen. But remember there's a guardian angel watching over him either way the angel is there. I hope that will comfort you. I can't say one way or the other that a miracle will happen. have you tried to get him into a clinical trial. there's always hope and fight and be there for him. If you need to talk I'm here I'll listen. @ Jo

Hello Joy, I had Adenocarcinoma, upper right lung, part removed & lost a "Pipe". I will celebrate my 28 year of surgery Sept; 9th. I didn't have chemo or radiation and I'm so sad to hear about your pain. I take Gabapentin for Neuropathy in my toes but no pain medication. I'm wishing you all the best dear lady, Whenever you need to chat, I'll be here for you. I must add, I had no symptoms, no cough and went into hospital for a D&C. When they X-Rayed my chest they found the cancer! in other words, I had no feelings of pain or trouble breathing. Did you have symptoms? I couldn't believe the news!! Shock set in and I went home that day and drank a full bottle of wine! I always thought, they'd made a mistake, then they showed me the X-ray. they also said it's normally found in the female organs, which I had a full hysterectomy twelve years later. That was clean. You're the only person I knew that went through Adenocarcinoma! My deepest greetings to you Joy, I'll toast you Sept; 9th, my anniversary.

@Semiaffs Hi I also had no symptoms it was found on chest it has been three years. I get a ctscan tuesday the sixth and I sincerely hope it's still gone. well I have no female organs I had hysterectomy when I was 22. I had carcinoma in my cervix. Thank goodness I already had three children. The pain I have is left over from the surgery. There is not much they can do for it. Thank you for caring. I don't know you but I care about you too. @Jo Taylor

I get asked on front page all the time if I am an iphone user down load app. it keeps asking me if i'm new And put @ than name. Can some one please take that down. I get it so please remove that.thank you @Jo Taylor
