Hi, I am new to this, and am searching for a miracle to help my daddy, who, on March 31 of this year was diagnosed with lung cancer.  The tumor in his left lung is 8cm x 5cm, and severe emphysema in the right lung, making surgery to remove the tumor out of the question.  He will not do chemotherapy,  which I am glad of, due to the fact that he is not strong enough, and the chemo will damage his healthy cells, which I believe he has a shortage of.   Many of my coworkers, ( I work at a Wellness Center) have suggested alternative treatments such as, drinking alkaline water, ( which I have him drinking because we have an unlimited supply at my work), and vitamin supplements and changing his diet to eliminate the foods that cancer feeds on, ie. Sugars,  processed foods, etc.   I have entertained  sending him to an alternative treatment center in Mexico, however, my mom is skeptical about those "snake oil sales people".  My question is this,  can anyone out there who has beat lung cancer with alternative meth9ds, please let me know and I will pass it along to my daddy.  At this stage, I truly believe he is not strong enough for radiation and certainly not chemo.  We have an appt. With the radiation oncologist tomorrow, but would like to present him with other options if anyone has any.  Thank you so much for listening and God Bless You.

I did alternative treatments along with chemo. I have been in remission for two years. While chemo sucks; it saved my life and I don't think I would be here without it.

I have severe copd fev1 33% , was diagnosed in Jan 2016 with lung cancer right lower lobe. 1.6 cm .was given radiation  sbrt 5 treatments. Will know in July if it worked. I don't know if he would be a candidate for that it . The radioligst would be able to determine that. The biggest side effect was tiredness ,I still haven't gained all my stamina back. As far as alternative treatments ,that is up in the air, diet and eating healthy is a first priority . Do all the research you can,, I did. I felt I had one shot at this and for me this was my best option. I was not able for surgery due to my lung function .i will keep you in my prayers, good luck. wardth

I'm currently and have been using cannabis oil over the last 3 years. In the beginning I also used radiation and chemo with less than satisfactory results. As a matter of fact, treatment put me in the hospital twice fighting for my life! Once a infection, and the second time needing to have fluid drained from around my heart! A very scary situation that wasn't caused by my cancer, but my treatment! It's been over a year now that I haven't had ANY conventional treatments. Just safe and practically harmless cannabis oil! Of course I'm supplementing, detoxing, diet changing, excersizing, ph enhanced waters and foods, etc... And I feel better than I have since this journey started! I still have a considerable size tumor in my upper left lobe, but I'm working on it! The point is...I feel better than I have in long time! This up coming month I'm going to request vitiman C IV treatments, and possibly look into oxygenation of my blood! Because their are old school "natural" methods that have had promise, and shown promise! Long story short...I feel much better about my fight! My body and my mind are working better now! (because chemo messes with both of those) And I'm now "living" with cancer! My tumor is still quite large, but my quality of life is so much better! And all these are natural, with little to no side effects! Anyway, best of luck on you and your loved ones journey!
