Doncaster Lymphoedema Support Group

The Doncaster group provides support for anyone within South Yorkshire or Derbyshire who suffers from lymphoedema and would like a coffee and chat with others that have the same condition . We welcome not only patients with lymphoedema but family members , carers and interested professionals . The group meets at St John’s Information and Support Centre , Weston Road Balby Doncaster DN4 8JS which is in the grounds of Tickhill Road Hospital .

The meeting dates for the rest of the year are Monday 3rd July 1-3pm , Monday 4th September 1-3 pm and 6th November 1-3pm . All warmly welcomed .

Hello kHP22, I live in Barnsley and have recently been diagnosed with lymphoedema as a result (potentially) of a knee replacement operation. I would welcome any advice/information from people managing this condition. I am unable to attend the meeting in July but hopefully would pop over in September if that's ok. Thank you for making this post.

No problem , we would be very pleased to see you at any time. I too have had a knee replacement but in the opposite sense , after I had lymphoedema for many years so it’ll be nice to have a chat and swop thoughts .
