Lumpedim 200 Mg for lymphoedema

While listening to a podcast on le I saw someone posted a comment that this drug is available in India for le. Does anyone know anything about this?

Also I did google it and it does seem to say it is a treatment for lymohodema. Person on the podcast was saying it is being used by Chinese doctors. Seems strange does it?

It can be difficult to know what to trust on Google. One of my searches indicates that Lympedim is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) used to treat conditions like thrombosis.

Yes indeed. I know a lot of trials are ongoing, would just be so great to have something on the horizon in the next few years. Some trials go on for ever and then get approved, I am so hoping for a miracle drug that will be available to all shortly

This drug has been used in the past (Coumarin) but was stopped (the oral form) because of its adverse effect on the liver. I would be very careful about using it. Ask a physician for advice.

Ah ok thanks ph! The Stanford trial does sound promising. The doctor mentioned a 2 to 3 year timeframe. Also he said it has ability to reverse lymohodema potentially which would be spectacular. It really would be wonderful to have some meaningful and affordable options for all of us
