Do you have lymphoedema? It could be overactive superficial nerves in the skin causing the sensation. If there is actual fluid coming through the skin, see a doctor or contact your lymphoedema clinic.Does the sensation stop if you gently stroke the skin?

No fluid at all , just the sensation. As soon as I feel it....it's gone, before I even get to rub the area. After reading a bunch of posts, I think it could be hypothyroidism. I will contact my doc. Thanks for responding

I don't have thyroid problems but used to have that water sensation. I now wear custom compression socks and I haven't had that feeling since! Good luck!!
