Active cancer and Lymphoedema treatment

Cancer has recurred after one year (cervical). Is it true that I need to stop use of compression and MLD for Lymphoedema? Panicking at the thought...would love some advice x

Hi Linwoo! So sorry to hear your news! I have primary Lymphedema and unfortunately I don’t know the answer to your question. Could you seek advice from the Lymphedema clinic at St George’s Hospital?

I know that there are reservations about deep massage during cancer but sld is not deep massage!
