LVA arm surgery

Hello, I am new here. I have Lymphedema on my left arm from Breast Cancer years ago however I only developed the Lymphedema 5 months ago. I would like to know if anyone has had LVA surgery in the arm with a surgeon in New York? If so, I would like to know if it worked and who the surgeon was? Thank you in advance for any information anyone can provide.

Are you in the USA or planning to travel there for surgery? If you are in the US there are some very good sites/ fora where I am sure you will get the response you are looking for.

Hello, I live in NY and haven’t really found any good suregeon that performs this surgery. Do you happen to know the name of the sites you are mentioning? I would really appreciate any insight.

I think one is the LERN (Lymhoedema Education and Research Network). Kathy Bates is a spokesperson on their behalf and is tremendous in this role as in all her others.
