Very much so. The heat always makes my legs so much worse, especially the left one where the lymphedema is more severe. The skin around my ankle feels so tight at the end of the day it feels like it might burst. I've also found that I am getting quite a lot of aches in the bottoms of my feet so, as you say, walking around can be quite uncomfortable. Getting the compression socks on in the morning is also proving to be very difficult and brings me out in even more of a sweat through the exertion! Taking them off when I get home is sheer bliss!! I try to keep my feet up as much as possible in the evenings and have been sitting with a bag of frozen peas on my feet, then behind my knees; it really does help cool your whole body down. Then I run my feet and hands under really cold water before I go to bed for a bit more relief.

Rest assured we are all suffering with you! xx

I do okay during the weekdays- although its a drag wearing compression socks. No more sandals. No more capris. But weekend compliance is harder. I want to work outside and I want to be in shorts. I try to be realistic about my legs. I wrap and wear compression in the weekends when I can but I take breaks too. And so, I have been having puffiness in my lower left leg. So I wrap my leg on the nights that its bad. But lately even on work days with my socks and leg elevation my ankle is puffy and straining against my sock. I think I need more water and more walking. But its hard to get up when youbhave work to do.

So yes, I totally feel your pain. We are probably the only ones who welcome winter.

Hi, I wear bilateral full leg open toe compressions and I wear flip flops all year round and I wear capri and 3 quarters leggings and shorts in summer.

Me too! Wide leg Capri are my best friends along with open toed knee hi compression stockings.

The heat makes things more painful for me but as I have been very active now for the last few months (re moving out of my home and then moving back into my modernised home to do decor etc) the swelling has been a lot less. I have also given up on the agony caused by wearing compression socks and I feel a zillion times better.

Yes things are getting a bit painful but I’m my own worst enemy as would rather wear shorts and get a tan than wear stockings. I use cold water before bed which helps

I'm definitely struggling in this heat, my feet and legs feel definitely heavier than usual. My compression stockings feel somewhat tighter and are uncomfortable to wear, but I have to wear them . The pain in my feet feels like I'm walking on broken glass. The pain is excruciating too.
