Anyone else using skin glue?

Hi Because my stockings tend to slide down (probably because my thighs are much larger than my knees) I have been given "it stays" glue in a roll on which works well. But does anyone know how to stop the glue running down the sides of the bottle? My one is now a very sticky mess.

Hi there. I use the same glue. Find it helps keep garments in place. I had one bottle that seemed to him up as it had fallen on its side and glue tended to leak into cap.. I have since made sure that bottles are upright and cap on securely.

Before you secure the cap, wipe round the neck of the bottle with a baby wipe.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

I also use It Stays. I often give the bottle a bath - tightly secure lid and wade away the excess on the sides with water. Remove lid and use a damp flannel to wipe the neck where the cap screws on before re-securing the lid

Ah, that might be a better idea, i'm trying to cut down on using wipes because of the environment problems.

Me too - most wipes are not properly biodegradable and dreadful for the earth! Waitrose does make biodegradable wipes (in loo roll section not baby section). I use them sparingly

It should say ‘wash’ away not wade away, but it won’t let me edit my post!

My bad - should have said wet flannel. Haven't used baby wipes myself for years!

I use Klebi glue and it's a roller ball but I do not have this problem, I store it upside down so the ball is charged ready for use.
