Hi everyone my legs & feet driving me bonkers, itchy heavy, sore, burning & twitching. My skin especially around ankles & heels looks like been scared by a burn, they look blistered underneath the skin, some like blisters look like loose skin where blisters have bursting. Sorry hard to explain

Could be infection - please seen your doctor asap.

Hi Lynne-byn sounds as if you have cellulitis. It's serious if left untreated. You need to see a doc asap & if you mention you think it may be cellulitis you will be seen bdq! Good luck, I have it now & am in serious pain & having to wear orthopaedic shoes can't get any of my normal ones on for the swelling. SEE A DOC SOON!!

definitely one for the GP - it could also be erysipelas - similar to cellulitis but it does need a different type of antibiotic and it seems to start with a blister; but only your GP can diagnose.

once you are cured, you must make sure to apply lotion to your leg and ankle. I have been lucky and have not had it yet.

Can anyone tell me, does Celluitis weep, my rash and redness, produces a smelly ooze, I assumed it was fungal, as mostly in folds, yes, I'm overweight, but not obese, been washing with anti-fungal wash, and using tea-tree cream to ease the itch, the ooze is yellowish, have been on 2 lots of anti-biotics, already, as doc thought my swollen foot, may be infected, not much has changed, still a mess....help.x
