Have you developed lymphoedema in any other part of the body?
I’m just learning about it my breast cancer was in 1999 and I had 17 lymph nodes removed 2010 spot on my vocal chord removed followed by radiation. My right shoulder I don’t have full range of motion and my right knee swells from time to time thank you so much for you information much appreciated as I start this journey
The damage to your voice will have been done by the radiotherapy. It will have inevitably damaged lymph vessels in the neck and throat. An MLD therapist would be able to work on your head, neck, face etc, to ease lymphatic congestion, but the voice may need additional help from a speech therapist, who will teach you how to use your breath and mouth shape to produce sound.
