Good luck for your appointment x

That's good news, did you only get one pair of compressions cause you can only wear them once then have to be washed and take a while to dry because they can't be dried on radiator or tumble dryer they have to dry naturally x

Relax Liz - you are doing nothing wrong. Many people wear their compression for two or more days before washing them.

I wear tights and wash them after two days, they can be washed in the machine on a delicate or wool wash. I always dry flat in the airing cupboard resting on a towel. I have them on a repeat prescription and have four pairs at any one time so only need to do the delicate wash cycle once a week.

I was told to wash them every day because cream and skin follicles make them lose there compression

I always wear my sleeves 2 days before washing as it is difficult to get them dry overnight. I do have 2 pairs and have them replaced every 4 months. I haven't noticed any difference between washing them every day (which I used to do) and every 2 days xx

Hi all, I asked for two armsleeves so I could wash overnight and hang to dry. I roll the sleeve in a towel after rinsing out and squeeze as much water as I can out without twisting the towel! I hang a folded towel over the bedroom radiator and they dry over the 36 hour period OK. Every so often I wear an older sleeve for a day and pop both newer sleeves in with whatever 40 wash I am doing. If I am away overnight I just wear the same sleeve for two days. I don't think the compression is affected. But compression goes over time as you can always tell the difference when you don a brand new sleeve!
