Please be careful - could you get a chiropodist to cut your nails for you? Toes are a prime site for cellulitis.

Not daft at all, but ask your GP to refer you to community Podiatrist. I had same problem, and now get my toenails cut by this service - Podiatrists say they are happy to deal with this problem, and I have found them very helpful. And I don't pay!

Hi, thanks for your reply I will ask doc about getting referred but don't like people touching my feet but I will have to get used to it.

Hi. I have the same problem, or should I say ''had''. After several incidents of cutting the fllesh around the toes, I now have to have a Chiropodist every 6 weeks. Expensive, but rather pay for that than have the dreaded Cellulitis again! Most essential you take care of your feet.

Good luck.
