Hi Aine
It would be helpful if you clarify your question. Do you mean funded by travel health insurance funded if abroad on holiday and there is a complication? Or do you mean funding for a procedure if service not available in the UK?

I do know of individuals who have received treatment in Germany, with NHS funding, but it took many years of repeated funding applications. E112 is for emergency treatment outside the UK in Europe. You could have a look at the NHS Choices website, where they explain now to apply for treatment in another country.
Some of the treatments previously only available in Europe, are now available here, in the UK.
Thanks lyonara
I have had residential intensive bandaging/mld programme previously and have not come across this in uk. Made a big difference to my lymphedema (they gave me my first diagnosis as I couldn't get diagnosis in uk) but costs a lot. I asked the clinic and they said they only have had e112 from other countries. Will check out nhs website. Thank you for your response
Was it the Foeldi Klinik in Bavaria?
No, it was Wittlinger clinic in Austria.
