I have lymphedema in both legs. Has anyone here ever had part of the affected limb (s) cave in, where the skin looks like it's suckered in? Sometimes it itches terribly.
Thanks in advance.

Do you regularly apply cream? Do you wear compression garments? Have you mentioned this to your lymphoedema clinic?
I have lymphoedema in both legs the left one is fine but itches pretty bad there is nothing there just constant itching and the only thing to relieve it is cream but then it comes back the doctor has looked and says it is the heat build from bandaging also it is only in a certain place . The right is very dented in by the right side of ankle it looks like I have had a big chunk bit out . The whole leg is misshaped I will not win a contest for the most beautiful legs in Britain . Ha just as if . But I am sure if you went to doctors he will put your mind at rest I know sometimes over the years I have gone to the doctors with the silliest of things and felt silly after being told it is nothing to worry about but then that is what he gets payed for. Hoping this helps all the best
What does your lymphoedema clinic advise - do you need new garments?
Hi nanajp,
I'm new to this group, ..
Reading you're message I can empathise with what you are saying..
Mine is worse in my left leg, but I get the same symptoms that you describe,
Swollen ankle, and my leg looks as though it's caving in, just above it.
Also swollen foot.
I'm actually having more tests done with a foot surgeon, as when it first started
The pain in both feet and ankles was awful, I could hardly walk, more a shuffle,
And when standing up the pain was worse and often one of my feet buckled under me.. I've has H/A in 2004, and asked my cardiologist if it was heart related , as I have mod to moderate heart failure, but he said no, hence the foot surgeon,
Who wants me to have MRI and needles to test, if the feeling has gone from my feet and lower legs has anything to do with it..
What has anyone advised or diagnosed for you about the sinking of the flesh on you're leg, it has me quite concerned
Thank
And a hello to everyone in this group.
