I think i could put up with bad days if i could get a good nights sleep.
I wake up and get up 3 times never get more than 2 hrs and legs are very painfull. Lifted the bottom of the bed.lowered the pillows and end up walking around the house dooing more housework than in the day. asometimes irioning and preparing the meals all this is ok as i am retired BUT there is nothing like a good 6 to 7 hours and wake feeling refreshed ore am i expecting too much.

Yes a good night's sleep is a wonderful thing. Properly managed lymphoedema should not cause the pain you are describing. If you have not already done so I suggest you contact the Lymphoedema Support Network. lymphoedema.org. tel 020 7351 0990.
I have done this and they are great. In the last 6 months i have gone from pain like i have never had before to pain that i can live with but if i could sort out the night sleep i would be on cloud nine.
Nice to have had contact -this site is so hepfull.
Hello, I have been told for over a decade that at worst....lymphoedema is uncomfortable....!!! I am in pain of various degrees continually. I do have complete empathy. Maybe some day people will listen to us and not go by text books .n
Have you been tested for Lipodema as you might have combination of both ? That might account for terrible pain . Are you wear well fitted compression stocking or tights ?
