Strange bruising turning up where you can be convinced that you haven't bashed yourself can be a sign of something called lipoedema not lymphoedema. There is a difference between the two. Although if you do have lymphoedema you can be prone to bruising more if you knock yourself. There are distinct differences between the two and someone suffering from lipoedema can go on to develop lymphoedema (then called lipo-lymphoedema I believe). Yes, it's confusing! Oh, lipoedema only affects females it seems. I don't know if you're male or female, but if you're male, please ignore the lipoedema information :-) Info can be found here lymphoedema.org/Menu7/Index...

As far as trousers go, I tend to steer clear from anything with nylon, polyester or pure wool in or they cling to my stockings something rotten! Poly-cotton material is ok for me if the cotton content is more than the polyester. I tend to go for something cotton/cotton mix or linen mix. In winter I tend to wear jersey material jogging bottoms that have the fleecy lining for extra warmth.
