I was just diagnosed with RADS and vocal cord dysfunction this week and also have a long, ever-increasing list of triggers (entirely scent-based irritants, which the exception of humidity and extreme cold, as well as running). I was diagnosed with asthma 3 years ago after having a severe attack after working in someone's garden while she was spraying a lot of liquid fence deer repellent. My chemical sensitivity has gradually worsened ever since then. It's truly miserable! My pulmonologist has suggested an organic diet, and ideally a paleo diet. I'm going to start with switching over as much of my diet as possible to organic simply because paleo is so restrictive and I also have GERD so can't eat too many fruits/vegetables or I have issues with that. She also prescribed a combination inhaler (to use with a spacer so the propellant is less likely to irritate my throat and cause problems) which I'm hesitant to try because the nebulizer they used during my breathing test gave me a nasty elevated, irregular heartbeat for the remainder of the day. Going to call this week and inquire about a different rescue inhaler that may have less side effects. I was given a peak flow meter that I have to use 2x/day for 3 weeks and record my numbers before going in for a re-check. What triggers your RADS? Do the inhalers help your sensitivity at all?

I am a huge proponent of using CBD for asthma because I use it myself every day. It's a powerful anti-inflammatory with solid research behind it. You may have to play around with the dosage to see what works best for you but I'm sure you'll find some benefit in it. If you're interested, here's a brief overview of how it works with asthma and why: treatasthmaathome.com/cbd-f...

You can buy a bag of empty capsules and put them in yourself. It's easy. I think I bought a large bag of 1000 capsules for something like 20 dollars. There are lot's of instructional videos online to give you a better idea of what's involved (not much).
