What medicine for asthma treatment helps with chronic cough

Need help with my 12 year old grandson. He always coughing with his asthma. Nothing seems to be helping . Miss so much school. Any advise to control his coughing would be appreciated. Seen so many drs. No solution, just more medicines.

Hi, my 12 year old daughter is asthmatic also do the inhalers but add to your meds Manuka 🍯 honey and give him a teaspoon once in the am noon and evening. Also get him a oil diffuser as put about 10 drops eucalyptus oil in with filtered water and let that moist air fall on him when he sleeps, good luck and God's speed!

Prednisone at intervals of 60 mg for three days followed by tapering it down 20 to 10 mgs every three days until you are down to none. Only a good doctor familiar with asthma can issue the prescription for Prednisone. I've suffered from Asthma for 50+ years and the past 5 have been the best of my life.
