Can Lexapro (Escitalopram) suddenly start to give you side effects, even if I’ve been on them for years without side effects ?

I have been taking Lexapro for about 6 years and couple of years ago I have started to get nausea , stomach discomfort, tiredness and lightheaded which the doctors can not find out why . Could the Lexapro be causing my issues ?

Sometimes you can take a med for years no side effects then all of a sudden they don't agree with you

I would ask the Doctor their medical opinion and tell them what you are thinking and if it would be possible to maybe swap to another med to see if that will make a difference as they don't have any other answers for you
