Anxiety is as an unexpected storm showing up out of the blue and absorbs into us becoming part of us. The stronger the storm the deeper the anxiety can result. Following such can bring on more emotional issues, just like lightning and gusty wind bring on more issues during a storm. The storm within us tends to become a stationary system and keep the anxiety in us for a longer period. Yet, just as it is known, the sun is still above the storm itself. With such knowledge we should remain knowing at all times we too have light within us in finding the way to get through these emotions. To break away from these emotions and shine. Shine just like the beauty of the clouds breaking up and the rays of the sun beaming down upon us. We then result with a clearer mind, a stronger spirit and knowing success was always on our side.
Actually, I would question that thinking. Anxiety starts as a thought. Oftentimes it happens so quickly you are totally unaware of it. if you want to start recovering from anxiety, start writing your thoughts down, no matter what they are and you will start seeing patterns that can lead you to discover your anxious thoughts that cause the anxiety. Then you can start to question those thoughts and are they real or imaginary. Check out "The Work"by Byron Katie to learn how to question and address your thinking. Anxiety can be physiological in nature and influenced by your diet, low thyroid, adrenal dysfunction, etc... so it's also best to check those out.
The book “The Work” sounds interesting. Thanks for the recommendation. Plus you are on the ball in your view of anxiety. It does start out as a thought. A thought some may recall as others who may be unable to recall. I have seen and heard people from both angles.
