Hello Dorsey & Welcome :-)

Anxiety can produce so many physical symptoms all of which when felt can feel very real and as if something serious is happening , usually when we are suffering with Health Anxiety this can be even more heightened

I think I have had every pain , twinge , ache and so many more that at the time I have thought this has to be something yet when I have been checked out it has come down to nothing serious and has made me over the years have to try and accept how powerful anxiety can be

The Doctors would not give you the all clear if they thought something was wrong would be more than there job was worth

I have read that they think it could be IBS , well I have stomach problems including IBS and I get pains shouting round my stomach and back even down my legs sometimes due to IBS

You could speak with your Doctor , tell them what you have been diagnosed and where you are getting the pain , how it is affecting your anxiety and see if there is anything they could prescribe to help :-)

Let us know how you get on :-)

Take Care x

Hello :-)

That is how IBS can make you feel , like you have something stuck in your stomach as well as pains

I would talk it through with your Doctor , they could give you something to help take this sensation away

Maybe start to keep a food dairy as some foods can make this worse and when we realise which one's do and eliminate them from are diet that an help to :-) x

If all of these symptoms have been checked out, the most likely cause is anxiety. I have been getting all sorts of strange physical sensations in various parts of my body recently. The list of things anxiety can cause seems endless and, more than that, sometimes anxiety isn’t the cause but the symptom you are experiencing can be something really minor but our anxiety makes us believe it is something so much worse. As someone who suffers from health anxiety myself, I can completely relate to that. You have been checked out, you are ok. I hope you start to feel better soon 😊

Thank you.

Hi there ~ well I suffer IBS and often the pain starts just below the ribcage. I didn't realise til someone told me that's where your bowel starts. So if you have IBS maybe that could be it ~ I find peppermint or ginger tea can help soothe the symptoms. Maybe give that a try . 🙂
