I think it could be quite possible that some people may find certain foods make their anxiety worse
Most do say certain drinks like tea , coffee & alcohol makes their anxiety worse as well
Maybe you could keep a food dairy & see if certain foods affect you more than others & if you do then you can eliminate then from your diet x
Hi , I noticed that junk food , fry food general and very sweet high sugar food make my anxiety worst. I am trying to stay of caffeine but still like to enjoy one cup of coffe daily . I do drink a lot of chamomile tea and eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Definitely alcohol. And sugary stuff.
Caffeine!! Alcohol!! (alcohol raises my anxiety masssssssssssively!) and lots of sugary food. The more healthier stuff you eat the better. I find when I eat too much and get too full and lazy - I feel down then too. Its good to eat small amounts often! Porridge in the morning is so good for you... then a small lunch.... a snack and a medium sized dinner with lots of veg - carb & protein. Its all about moderation hope this helps xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I'm sorry to hear you have to deal with this aweful disorder as well, but I'm glad to find out that food really does affect the anxiety, I thought I was just imagining it!
I've noticed this! It's so frustrating because I soemtimes am afraid to eat or drink what I think have may caused the anxiey. I wonder its pshycological :/. I know caffeine can irritate ones anxiety. What foods have you noticed your anxiety level increase with? I
