I would like to know if your using Prep, when you have you doctor check you to see if Prep is working correctly, is he checking for all the other stds too? It’s seems everyone thinks Prep is going protect you against all stds and I think this needs to be addressed.

Yes she does a complete STD check up! Although I’m well aware that PREP doesn’t protect you from STD’s because it’s stressed by advertising and certain doctors

Interesting, because on another site I follow I was told that doctors don’t. Doctors just how the Prep is working and making sure your kidneys are functioning correctly.

I was told you have to request the doctor run all the other stds, separately if you want to know if you might have contracted something.

Hello there. Doctors i Kmow run those test and also check blood work every 3 to 6 months. For hiv stds. Guess it depends on the dr you go to. If sexually active it's best to get STD testing frequent even if it's hook ups.
