I'm looking at my favourite recipes to see how I can adapt them. Normally I would have used some flour to form a roux for thickening sauces and added breadcrumbs when making meatballs, burgers and so on. Are there effective substitutes?

For sauces, you'll find everything here dietdoctor.com/low-carb/ket...
As for breadcrumbs, they're just unnecessary, you'll be able to make everything without them
Thank you so much! That's perfect. I have a lot of old favourite recipes that are going to be even yummier with the addition of these ideas. You're right about the breadcrumbs too I guess. I made stuffing at Christmas with sausagemeat and onions, no bread, and it was fine. Thanks again 😊
I've always made sausage meat stuffing without bread, even before I started lchf. X
How do you make it? I just mixed sausagemeat, sage and onion. Any suggested improvements?
Sausage meat, onion, mushrooms (optional), mixed herbs, garlic (optional). Cook the onion and garlic until soft, add the mushrooms and herbs, cook for a few minutes. Add sausage meat and cook until just cooked through. Transfer to an oven proof dish and bake for around 20-25 mins at 200C.
