We have a pretty decent cuff at home, so I have been keeping an eye on my blood pressure. I forgot to take a reading before starting, but I was around 120/76 in Feb.

While doing restrictive keto in July, my blood pressure came in at around 110/72.

Unfortunately I've got a stomach irritation, and I've been tending towards plain foods like rice and potatoes again, because they're easier to digest. Blood pressure has risen to 125/76 after 3 weeks.

I can't rule out that being ill has pushed my blood pressure up a bit, but I've gone from good to optimal to slightly elevated, and the major change is carbs...

Blood pressure is still ok if it keeps going up, let your doc know.

Yes, it's still ok, just no longer optimal. I thought it was interesting how much difference fat made in lowering blood pressure though :)
